I'm raising vital funds for mito!
To show our support for former player Leigh Caulfield and his family, the Templeton Cricket Club past player community is raising funds for the Mito Foundation.
Leigh's son, Tyler, has been battling Mitochondrial Disease which has significantly affected his hearing, vision and energy levels. Now 15, Tyler is now legally blind. Thoughout Tyler's illness, the Caulfield family has received support from the Mito Foundation. To contribute, the Club will be raising funds for the Foundation. Please read the information below for more information on the Foundation and how they are providing support to families such as Leigh's.
Mitochondrial disease (mito) is a rare life threatening disease that can affect anyone at any age.
The Mito Foundation provides information and support services to connect mito patients and their families to help them feel less alone while funding research to develop meaningful treatments and cures.
You can help too, by donating to my fundraiser. Together we can create real change for the mito community.
Thanks!
