Garden Centres of Australia is fundraising to help the Mito Foundation create a brighter future for Australians impacted by mitochondrial disease (mito).
Mito is terminal; there are no cures and few effective treatments. All donations to this page will help cultivate the budding researchers that will make the medical advancements needed to literally change lives.
Please help us to reach our target to fund the Green Shoots Fund.
This fund will enable the best and brightest researchers to dedicate their careers to saving lives. Even a small amount of funding from the Green Shoots Fund can lead to amazing discoveries to dramatically improve outcomes for people with mito.

Mitochondria are the powerhouses of the cell. They create the energy our bodies, and all our beautiful plants, need to grow and function. Researchers study mitochondria to tackle the many complexities of mitochondrial disease.Â
