STEVEN's Story...

Steven (19 Feb 1965 - 29 Oct 2023) was a child of the sixties, a fiercely independent human who strived to achieve multiple milestones through his life. He won trophies for his childhood football team and then ballroom dancing during his mid-twenties, while at the same time hurtling through his teens and twenties in his Holden and Mini Moke.

Speed and wheels were always a combination in Steven's life, including go-karting and bike riding, and this continued on through his need to speed in his wheelchair!

With the many health difficulties that he faced through his life, those who took the time to listen, appreciated his humour and positive approach to life.
Steven has visibly made a difference to the lives of others and in the words of one of his sisters 'you hold a special place in the hearts of all those whose lives you have touched'.

Steven will be deeply missed by his family and the community that have gathered around him and them.
