Why We Are Fundraising
Mitochondrial disease is a complex genetic condition that robs the body's cells of the energy they need to function. It is a devastating disease that can affect any organ at any age, and currently, there is no known cure.
- Support Vital Research: Funds raised will go directly toward essential research into the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mitochondrial disorders.
- Raise Awareness: One Australian child born each week will develop a severe or life-threatening form of mito. By sharing Henry's story, we hope to educate others about this "invisible" disease.
- Honor Henry’s Legacy: Every donation is a way to memorialise Henry and ensure his life continues to make a meaningful impact on other families.
How You Can Help
