Aaron's Story...

Aaron was born in December 1978 and diagnosed with Mitochondria Myopathy when in his late teens. He was determined to live as normal life as he could while struggling with his disease. He finished his university degree and qualified as an a Accountant. He subsequently gained employment with a well known Perth company who were understanding about his illness. They kept him employed until such time as his illness stopped him from looking after himself and his mother became his full time carer until he passed away at age 43yrs. He was a very much loved and admired team member of his local cricket club and his team members were always encouraging him "to have a crack" and have some fun. He eventually got elected as treasurer and remained as such until he was no longer able to devote the time required that the position needed. He eventually passed away with heart failure. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him. RIP my beautiful young man.
