Hosted in conjunction with a supportive riding community in Brisbane the 3CC (3 Coast Collective)The journey begins sharing awareness of Mitochondrial Disease. With the support of a fellow riding community behind me and the Hohaia Family we strive to raise awareness each year for Mito.

I'm raising vital funds for Mito!
This is my story ...
This is for Rosie. A beautiful young girl who lost her battle to Mitochondrial Disease in 2023 at the age of 2yrs old. One year later, the Hohaia family set out to spread further awareness and raise funds for the Mito Foundation by joining the annual ‘The Bloody Long Walk’ and for 2 years they triumphed.
This year, unfortunately due to recently sustained injuries the walking team can no longer participate in The Bloody Long Walk.
This year I am organising, and hosting a ‘Ride For Rosie’ & doing my part for Mito Awareness on Sunday 21st June 2026 (The day of the Brisbane City Bloody Long Walk) to continue spreading awareness, raising funds to support families of loved ones battling, and those that have passed, from Mitochondrial Disease.
Your donations, no matter how small, make a difference to all our Mito warriors that are affected by this disease - every dollar raised is $1 closer to a treatment and hopefully one day soon, a cure! All donations are welcome but your support and awareness is key.
